ETHICS

This is the proper business conduct between employer, employee and clients.  The Cometology code of ethics is based on the golden rule: “DO UNTO OTHERS AS YOU WOULD WANT THEM DO UNTO YOU”

RULES OF ETHICS:

  • Give courteous and friendly service to all clients.
  • Treat all clients honestly and fairly. Do not show favouritism.
  • be courteous and show respect for the feelings and rights of others.
  • keep your words and fulfill your obligations.
  • Cherish a good reputation by setting an example of good conduct and behavior. 
  • Be loyal to your employer, manager or associates.
  • Practice the highiest standards of sanitation at all times.
  • Obey all provisions of the cosmetology laws.
  • Believe in the profession and practice it faithfully and sincerely. 

PROFESSIONAL ATTITUDE TOWARDS CLIENTS:

  • Greet client by name with a pleasing tone of welcome in your voice.
  • See that her personal belongings are cared for.
  • See the client to her seat 
  • Study her mood. Often the client will prefer quiet and relaxation. 
  • Confine your own conversation to her cosmetic needs 
  • If she wishes to talk be a good listner.
  • Never repeat gossips as this may cause your client to losse confidence in you
